Machinist job near Epsom!

A privately-owned technology business designing and manufacturing a range of scientific instrumentation are looking for a skilled Machinist to join their growing R&D team near Epsom. Their products are used for research by some of the world's most innovative scientific organisations.

Working for the Research and Development department of the company to machine a wide variety of prototypes. This ideally would cover both milling and turning, using new CNC machines in a modern clean environment. Cross-training can be provided if you only have milling or turning. The main emphasis is for someone flexible and willing to learn new skills.

Key responsibilities of the Machinist job:
- Setup, operate & maintain vertical milling/turning machines
- Perform first & last piece inspection to ensure accuracy to drawings.
- Work with the design team to ensure designs can be efficiently produced within tight deadlines.

Key skills required for the Machinist job:
- Qualifications & Knowledge Required
- 5 Years+ Milling & Turning Experience
- EdgeCam programming experience (Desirable)
