Are you looking for a Quality Manager job in Milton Keynes?

A world leading Technology Company who design a range of high performance RF systems and components that are used by global defence and commercial companies all over the world are seeking a Quality Manager to join their site in Milton Keynes.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the company complies with the required quality standards as demanded by the industry at large and by their customers in particular, and to support other functional areas in all matters relating to quality. He/she will drive and instil a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company through the refinement of their business processes in order that they continue to exceed the expectations of their customers and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities of the Quality Manager located in Milton Keynes are:

> Provide Quality Engineering resource and expertise to facilitate the successful completion of customer deliverables in line with customer requirements
> Conducting internal audits and facilitating external audits
> Managing the Corrective Action System to close any gaps and weaknesses identified in their quality management system
> Meeting the contracted needs of their customers by pro-active involvement during the entire product life cycle
> Applying Six Sigma and Lean tools
> Leading / participating in specific project teams
> Facilitating improvement programs across all departments to increase effectiveness and reduce waste
> Working with the Purchasing Department to select, evaluate and develop suppliers.
> Providing the interface with the company's customers and the various accreditation bodies on matters relating to quality, approvals, audit and appraisal.
> Supporting and working with corporate / business unit initiatives to ensure best practice is flowed down and implemented where appropriate.


The successful Quality Manager will ideally be Degree level or equivalent in Science/Engineering, and come with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a responsible position covering Quality Engineering and Quality Management Systems, ideally in a supervisory role in a similar environment.

Candidates MUST be eligible to obtain UK security clearance.
