Great opportunity is available for a Quality Manager- Continuous Improvement to join a Team based in Welham Green, Hertfordshire, for a client who are world leaders within the fire detection industry.
Reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence, the Quality Manager - Continuous Improvement will be responsible for the procurement of all Leading the Quality team to ensure that quality standards are agreed, maintained and met using data driven analysis.
This role is with a manufacturer of electronics equipment. A background in this environment would be beneficial but not essential.
Main duties / responsibilities for the Quality Manager - Continuous Improvement
Responsible for the planning and resourcing of strategic activities, including (but not limited to);
- Lead and support CI activities that deliver quantifiable Business improvements using metrics to measure trends and action effectiveness.
- Quality budget planning and spend controls.
- NPI including planning the support of PPAP, V&V, DFM & FMEA activities.
- ISO planning and ongoing accreditation.

- Team leadership
- Successful CI project implementation against agreed targets
- Comparable Quality role within a manufacturing environment
- ISO 9001
- Supplier management
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
