Job description

My client is a Private-Limited Company and wholly owned subsidiary of Halma Plc, a UK based business listed on the London Stock Exchange and a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index. They produce energy and water management equipment to combat water leakage and energy wastage. In addition, the company also make flow measurement and pressure control devices and data loggers.

The pace and extent of the business continuing growth has led us to invest in further organisational expansion. My client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to the role Quality Improvement Leader, Cwmbran, South Wales to join their continuing growing organisation within the Quality department.

The Quality Improvement Leader, Cwmbran, South Wales will join this business to progress further along the continuous improvement journey, and to enhance their quality control and management techniques. The focus of this role is to improve quality further at a working level across all the functions and to drive accountability throughout the organisation.

As the Quality Improvement Leader, Cwmbran, South Wales you will be driving continuous improvement to a higher level, to ensure processes, and procedures are in line with ISO standards, are maintained and continuously improved. You will be conducting product and process audits to improve performance, compliance, control and quality levels. You will also be supporting the Quality Manager, to implement total quality strategy, as well as working with Operational Managers to review their department performance, and methods to ensure they are working to high standards. This will also identify any weaknesses and failures, which will help to identify business improvement opportunities.

The Quality Improvement Leader, Cwmbran, South Wales you will be educated to a degree level in a relevant discipline with specific training which will support the requirement for this position. You will need to have at least 5 years' experience working as a Quality Engineer in a similar environment. Be able to demonstrate your recent successes and capacity to generate ideas for change. You will also have excellent problem solving and communication skills.
