Are you a quality engineer looking for an exciting new job opportunity in Portchester, Hampshire? Are you interested in working with an Engineered product in the Aerospace & Defence, Space, Medical, Industrial & Commercial markets industries?
The Portchester based Quality Engineer will support product and process compliance aligned to customer and industry requirements, working with the company quality management system and ensure compliance with AS9100 requirements/documentation.
You will be part of the UK quality team and continuously improve operational yield through deployment of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) for assembly and test operations.
Key Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer:
> Ensure proper flow-down of requirements from customers to operations/test.
> Support ongoing ERP system implementation to ensure production routers appropriately capture Process requirements and details.
> Lead key quality meetings to drive routine information disposition and action for successful QMS Deployment.
> Drive customer satisfaction by striving to prevent quality escapes and timely follow-up on escapes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities for the Quality Engineer :
> Background in and/or experience of aerospace & defence or microelectronics or other highly regulated.
> Industry preferred.
> Background in and/or experience of an AS9100 environment preferred.
> Excellent people skills - a proven teacher, coach, or mentor.
