Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control Technician to join a market leader in industrial ink jet products based in Liverpool.

The Quality Control Technician, Liverpool will be responsible for testing raw materials, intermediate products and finished goods using a number of physical and analytical techniques. You will need to ensure that non-conforming materials are clearly identified and that the information is presented on a NCM form.

You will work to the following standards; ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 in a lab environment. You will work with the Marking Materials and NPI Teams to develop test methods and specifications which are justified and to which are capable to manufacture/ source materials.
Other responsibilities will include investigating quality issues in order to identify root causes and to drive the completion of actions to prevent a reacurrance. As well as working in the Manufacturing Team to develop more robust ways of working that ensure that errors are avoided.

Successful candidates for the Quality Control Technician, Liverpool, role will ideally have experience using a range of analytical techniques such as; FTIR and GC including method development and knowledge and experience of applying GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) or GLP (Good Lab Practice) techniques.
