Job description

A Project Engineer - Electronics is required to join one of the UK's leading technology companies, based in Nottingham. This is a fantastic job opportunity to join a global technology company offering great career prospects and training. They are very committed to developing their staff and up skilling them into the latest technologies.
Your job as a Project Engineer will be to liaise with customers and understand the different electronic products they require to a form a solution for their bespoke intercoms/safety system. This will include: Intercoms, Sirens, sprinklers, amplifiers and microphones. You will be responsible for putting this system together and then testing it before it goes out onto customer site.

It's important that you have a some electronics background to be able to understand and resolve any technical issues that may arise whilst working with the products and systems.

They are expecting to train someone into the main elements of this job. Once trained the main responsibilities of the Project Engineer - Electronics will include:
- Designing solutions from client's specifications
- Providing technical support to Project Managers
- Meeting project and test deadlines
- System test and fault finding

Requirements of the Project Engineer - Electronics:

- A HNC/BTEC/ONC/C&G (Or equivalent level qualification) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- You must have hands on experience in working with electronics

Preferred experience from the Project Engineer - Electronics:
- Experience in AutoCAD
- Bench test, system test and fault finding

As a Project Engineer - Electronics, you will have the opportunity to work on their up and coming $multimillion project. You will be liaising with multiple areas of the business and will be working on up to half a dozen projects at a time at different stages in each project life cycle. This role will see you working on a diverse array of project each with its own challenges to overcome.
