Job description

My client, a growing high technology company, has an urgent requirement for a Production Manager to join their team in Glasgow.

The Production Manager, Glasgow will be responsible for directing the company's manufacturing and production activities, defining and recommending manufacturing objectives, developing short and long term plans, monitoring KPI's, along with setting up and maintaining inventory control and levels to conform with budgets and forecasts. The role will also require driving continuous improvement through lean tools and techniques. Other areas of responsibility will include on time deliveries, quality, continuous improvement, shipping and receiving and materials management.

The Production Manager, Glasgow will preferably have a HNC/ HND in a relevant discipline and will have experience within a similar role including working with Lean techniques.
