An exciting job opportunity as a Production Engineer has opened up with a cutting-edge scientific company. My client based in Oxford is a world leader in scientific detection instrumentation who has huge growth ambitions.
As a Production Engineer in Oxford, you will lead manufacturing engineering support activities working with executive management and their contract manufacturer to define and develop the assembly and overall production process. This will include taking a lead role in product and process validation, planning and execution of qualification / validation and participation in the design and implementation of assembly fixtures.
The right candidate will work with the Contract Manufacturer's Quality and Manufacturing departments to establish and maintain production processes and quality for new products and improvements to existing products.
Desired Skills & Experience for the Production Engineer job are:
> Experience of production engineering within highly regulated industries such as medical or aerospace sectors.
> Experience in being hands on with trouble shooting and maintenance
> Experience with automating and semi-automating manufacturing processes for medical products is a plus.
> Experience in process improvement and PLC systems is a bonus
> Excellent writing skills for detailing specifications, processes, and creating manufacturing documentation, such as protocols, control plans, work instructions, and test methods.
