Job description

Would you like to find your place as a Product Manager within a high-performing team, delivering products and services on a global basis to industries such as aerospace, government and defence based in Northants?

As the Product Manager you will join a team of fast-moving, dedicated, passionate and technical professionals focused on innovation and delivering results. You will leverage your commercial expertise and electronic engineering skills, working closely with sales, design engineering and technical support and act as the professional technical interface to customers and internal sources.

Key Responsibilities for the Product Manager Job will include:

> Deliver and act as product manager for all existing products in the core segments.
> Support and communicate with the Product Lifecycle Management team- monitor the product specifications, competitive landscape, identify the need for upgrades and refreshes of core products, supporting the definition of the business case for these activities, presenting this to leadership, and executing the roadmaps.

Act as technical interface to global customers and internal audiences by supporting Sales and Marketing promotion efforts and meeting with customers and users to gather feedback.
Support financial performance reports - product portfolio's revenue, margins to the forecasts and plans.

Key Skills/Requirements for the Product Manager Job:

> BSc in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
> Strong technical knowledge and design of high speed digital electronic products.
> Knowledge of advanced microprocessor or computer solutions /platforms such as SBC's.
> Ideal candidates will have proven experience in working with customers at all levels within an organization and with interfacing with senior professionals.
> Design Engineers seeking a move into a more commercially orientated role will be considered as well as Application Engineers and exiting Product Managers.
