A great client is seeking a Product Manager - Electronics to join their Sales & Marketing department, based in Welham Green, Hertfordshire. This vacancy is with an industry-leader in the design and manufacture of electronic safety systems.
Reporting to the Strategic Marketing Manager, the successful Product Manager - Electronics will define, support and develop their products and services roadmap. Working closely with their technical team and software partners, the Product Manager will innovate their current and future products and influence the market strategy.
The main responsibilities as a Product Manager - Electronics will be to:
- Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for their connected products.
- Review technological and customer trends, changes to safety legislation, market data and customer feedback.
- Produce business cases for new products as a basis for investment.
- Ensure that new product development is always aligned to the commercial needs of the organisation.
- Own the business model for the product, compile sales reports and conduct analysis.
The successful Product Manager - Electronics will have the following skills and experiences:
- Proven work experience in product management and track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
- Experience working on technical products, ideally connected products, with a strong understanding of hardware and software.
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations.
- Skilled at working effectively with and leading cross functional teams.
- Strong data analysis skills and commercial acumen.
- Educated to degree level in a business/management or technical subject or qualified by experience.
