Are you a Power Electronics Engineer looking for a new challenge?
Do you have experience working with Inverters, power supplies, or power electronics in driver and motor applications?
If so I have the role for you!
My client is a Market Leader in pushing the boundaries of science to deliver innovative products that are intrinsic to everyday life and due to expansion, they are looking for an additional Power Electronics Engineer - Motors/Drives to join the R&D team in Eastbourne.
As the Power Electronics Engineer - Motors/Drives, you will be responsible for the following:
> Design and develop power electronic solutions and inverters for both high and low voltage drive applications including 3 phase, mains power power
> Design and develop low/medium voltage AC/DC and/or DC/DC analogue & digital electronic solutions for drive applications
> Demonstrate a strong understanding of design for reliability; design for manufacturing and design for safety
> Demonstrate a strong understanding of design for EMC.
To be a successful applicant for the Power Electronics Design Engineer job your skills/experience will involve the following:
> Degree level in electronics
> Experience of power supply design AC/DC or DC to DC, and/or inverters with the associated analogue and digital electronics.
> Experience of using an electronic design CAD tools, e.G. ORCARD & Pspice
> Experience in design & reliability techniques, e.G. DFMEA
> Strong EMC experience
