Physicists - Precision Control - Cambridge to £50K + benefits

This job represents a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate / Post graduate Engineer with a PhD in Physics, Math or Electronics and some good Matlab development experience to join a successful, expanding, fun to work for Cambridge based Electronics R & D company who are doing some really interesting work in sophisticated nano-control and imaging IP generation. Their platform is all based upon their proprietary Physics IP, which enables precision control and positioning to tolerances nobody else in the world can manage.

You will be working in a very high calibre, similarly qualified, mixed discipline team of Physicists, Electronics Engineers, Firmware and Software Engineers, to develop a platform which enables ultra high precision (sub micron) image stabilisation, which is in use in high spec smartphones and portable devices around the world and is now moving into medical applications drones, autonomous vehicles and AR / VR applications.

Your background for the Physicists - Precision Control job should, ideally, include -

> A good technical Degree or above (PhD ideal but certainly not essential) in Physics, Math, Electronics or similar.

> Stong Matlab or Python development experience, ideally from within a challenging technology driven environment.

> A background knowledge of Control Theory, Optics, Physics, Test Systems or Control Systems.
