A fantastic opportunity has come available for a Photonic Device Design Engineer - Semiconductor III-V to join a world leading technology high-speed optoelectronic organisation. They are looking for a bright engineer who has experience with the development of semiconductor III-V related technology, either with an Microwave Engineering or Opto-Electronic academic background.

In this Photonic Device Design Engineer - Semiconductor III-V job you will get the opportunity to further your learning and assist with the development of photonic integrated circuits for high-speed detection systems.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills / experience:
> An academic background in Microwave OR Optoelectronic technology, ideally to PhD level.
> Exposure to Semiconductor III-V technology, ideally with exposure to Indium Phosphide (InP).
> A strong understanding of photonic circuits, semiconductor lasers, optical amplifiers, and RF / microwave engineering.
> Ability to learn quickly with ambition for continuous career progression.
> Ability to work within a team environment.
