Are you looking for work within the audio industry? If so, this is the PhD - Graduate/Researcher -Maths/Algorithms job for you!

I am currently recruiting for a small, dynamic R&D focused company who use state-of-the-art signal processing techniques to develop audio products. Products are used in places as diverse as hospital operating theatres to rock festivals.

They are currently seeking to recruit a PhD - Graduate/Researcher/Maths/Algorithms to fill an exciting position within their R&D department.

Having spoken to the Technical Director he is looking for the PhD - Graduate/Researcher/Maths/Algorithms to be a very bright raw graduate or PhD graduate researcher. They will need a very strong maths background and will be investigating the latest algorithms technology for their future products (5 year road map).

You will be responsible for producing complete, practical mathematical solutions that are ready for implementation by other members of the R&D team on existing and future products.

The PhD - Graduate/Researcher/Maths/Algorithms will need to have:

- A Phd in a Maths - Algorithm or related subject.
- Experience of software development in C++ would be beneficial.
- Algorithm research and development using, for python or Matlab
- A background understanding of the physics of audio signals, perhaps from a music or hi-fi perspective would be nice to have.
