Job description

My client based in Somerset has an exciting job opportunity for a PCB Assembly Technician to join a well-established company who are an electronic manufacturer.

The PCB Assembly Technician will join the production team in Somerset. The PCB Assembly Technician will be responsible for PCB assembly and ensuring that they meet quality standards. They will be working with IPC-A-610 standards. They will also be liaising with production and feeding back any issues.

The successful candidate for the PCB Assembly Technician will have experience of working within similar role or electronics manufacturing environment. They will also understand component identification codes such as resistors, capacitors and ICs and be able to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials. Ideally, they will have previous inspection and assembly experience to IPC-A-610 class 2 minimum desirable.
