Job description

A Mechanical Technician is required to join an industry leading client based in Cambridge. This is an exciting time to join this company as they continue their journey producing leading edge next generation products and systems.

The Mechanical Technician job, Cambridge will be joining this companies growing team of world-class technologists. In this role they will be carrying out microscope work carrying out build and assembly involving knife work, soldering and gluing. As well as running experiments then collecting and collating test data and assisting with the assembly and preparation of experiments. This candidate will also be working alongside our teams and providing support to the software, mechanical and control and test engineers.

The Mechanical Technician, Cambridge will need to be familiar with milling, drilling and soldering. Also, basic experience in assembly and workshop skills is essential. You need to be able to work as a team but also self-motivated to be able to work independently.
