A leading Aerospace / Defence organisation based in Middlesex have created a new job opening for a Mechanical Design Engineer - Ruggedised to join their dynamic R&D team.
The role will involve designing and developing mechanical solutions to incorporate electronic products for rugged military environments. You will be part of a well-established mechanical design team, using 3D CAD and FEA tools, such as: SDRC IDEAS, CF Design and NX Design.
The ideal Mechanical Design Engineer - Ruggedised will have the following skills and experience:
> Previous exposure to mechanical design for rugged military environments.
> A strong understanding of thermal analysis and design.
> Ability work on design from concept through to manufacture.
> Ability to work within strict time constraints and budgets.
> Trained with a relevant Mechanical focused qualification.

Ths role will offer hybrid working with 3 days in the office 2 days working form home.
