Job description

The Redline Group have recently partnered with a market-leading manufacturer of automotive brake products & air suspension systems who are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support them at their offices close to Coventry.

An innovator in their field, their products are unique and paving the way in new technology across the automotive industry. Your role will be to support their engineering team in designing cable looms & harnesses for a new generation of braking valve systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to make a real difference.

Main responsibilities include:
- Designing new cable looms, harnesses, and connectors.
- Identifying & evaluating potential faults and taking preventative action

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Experience in mechanical design using Creo.
- Experience in designing cable harnesses, looms, and connectors.
- Familiarity with GD&T.
- Familiarity with FMEA processes.

Experience in designing pneumatics & hydraulics and/or braking systems for commercial vehicles is HIGHLY desirable.
