Job description

My client, a market leading organisation requires a Materials Scheduler in the Kent area.

The Materials Scheduler will report into the Materials Manager and will be responsible for purchase order processing, working with in-bound logistics, out-bound logistics, ensuring that all despatches are complete and shipped on time, assisting in the preparation of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Request For Quotations (RFQs) and action low stock and raise purchase orders. The role will also be responsible for supporting all departments with New Product Introduction (NPI), assisting with new and existing Supplier Management, assisting with strategic savings, assisting with commercial negotiations and assisting with credit rating reports and supplier risk management. The role will involve filing and working with different documents, expediting, negotiating and dealing with enquiries and data inputting.

The ideal candidate will need experience in a similar role and will have excellent knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
