Job description

A highly successful technology company involved in the design and manufacture of complex audio & broadcast communication equipment are seeking a Material and Logistics Coordinator for their site in Hampshire.

The Job:
The Material and Logistics Coordinator, Hampshire, will report into the Operations Manager and will be responsible for managing the relationship with all subcontract assembly partners, ensuring compliance of all goods and services received and overseeing the shipping and logistics processes to ensure efficient delivery of products and services. Other responsibilities will include carrying out material purchasing functions, ensuring cost and timescale requirements are met, driving cost reductions where possible, selecting and managing suitable component vendors, managing the relationship with subcontract assembly partners, managing non-conformance material process, along with running MRP, reviewing customer order book to ensure material available to meet delivery, overseeing shipping and logistics of all national and international customers and ensuring accuracy of export and shipping paperwork.

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for the Material and Logistics Coordinator, Hampshire, will have knowledge of electronics manufacturing in an OEM or CEM environment, will have working knowledge of ISO9001 and experience of New Product Introduction (NPI) in fast moving electronics manufacturing environment. CIPS qualification is an advantage.
