Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Operations Manager, based in Colchester, to join a leading specialist in wireless capture, delivery and management of high quality live video for broadcast, defence and law enforcement markets.

The Manufacturing Operations Manager must have significant experience effectively managing manufacturing operations function from order receipt, dating, production and shipment. As well as ensuring monthly revenue targets are achieved relating to quality, cost, delivery and implement of a lean based manufacturing environment.

The Manufacturing Operations Manager, based in Colchester should have Key skills/experience in:
- Management of manufacturing operations, including: Control of quality, costs, delivery, inventory & capacity planning
- Implementation of Lean manufacturing, 5S/7wastes/visual management/Kanban
- Proficiency in MS Office applications & MRP systems
- Degree in related field
- Electronics background
