Job description

A world leader in the design and manufacture of electro mechanical systems for the chemical industry is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - NPI (New Product Introduction), to join then their Eastbourne site.

The Manufacturing Engineer - NPI, Eastbourne, will provide Manufacturing Engineering resource to the New Product Introduction development teams. The role will also look at component selection and quality control, BOM (bill of materials) creation on SAP, actively participate in Process and Design FMEAs, work with cost reduction through the use of Value Engineering Techniques and working with the Operations teams to optimise assembly area layout.

The Manufacturing Engineer - NPI, Eastbourne, will have the ability to work on multiple projects at once and should have previous experience in an electronics assembly environment. A HNC or above in an engineering discipline would be beneficial.
