Job description

My client, a global company supporting measurement professionals worldwide, is looking for a field based Machine Control Installation Technician in the Milton Keynes area.

The Machine Control Installation Technician, Field based, will be responsible for the installation of machinery, providing after sales support and servicing, promoting and supporting the company's products, along with testing and troubleshooting all systems. Other responsibilities will include installation, calibration and setup of all products, basic system training delivery to new operators after installation, technical field support as required, providing assistance and 2nd line support and generating reports for all technical issues and events.

The Machine Control Installation Technician, Field based, will be required to frequently visit the Milton Keynes head office. UK travel is frequently required with this role.

The Machine Control Installation Technician, Field based, will have relevant work experience and will have an understanding of technical or mechanical issues relating to construction machinery. Knowledge of hydraulic control systems, welding, fabrication or electrical knowledge would also be beneficial.
