Job description

Leading Supplier of high performance Electrical Harnessing Components are looking for a UK based Key Account Manager to join their global organisation in order to increase sales with their global Aerospace and Defence customers.

Being integral to the UK sales team and reporting directly to the Sales Director for Aerospace and Defence, as the Key Account Manager, you will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of selling electronic or electrical interconnect components gained within a distributor or OEM. Previous experience in the design led sales of connectors, electro mechanical or cable products is essential, while an understanding of the distribution model and route to market would be highly beneficial.

As the successful Key Account Manager, you will be able to demonstrate your UK sales experience as an individual who is driven by results, and able to deliver growth targets. The ideal Key Account Manager will be degree qualified at a HNC level or above in electronics engineering or an equivalent subject and will have an excellent knowledge and experience selling to tier 1, 2 and 3 Aerospace and Defence customers.
