IC Design Engineers - Cambridge, to £ 80K + excellent benefits. Design highly complex IC's (from specification and architecture through to production) that are used by literally millions of AR / VR / Displays consumer products worldwide.

Do you enjoy designing ICs that are used by millions of end users ? Would you like to see your work appear in some of the most advanced big name consumer products in VR / AR and Graphics displays ? Do you want to work in a high calibre team pushing the boundaries of graphics and network performance ?

If so, then this is a fantastic opportunity to join a world class IC Design team, designing and implementing innovative products which combine cutting edge video, graphics and low latency networking IP. The company are a very successful, highly profitable Software and Chip company who own the very lucrative technology space that they work in. They are rapidly expanding, building their complex IP into new, world leading Graphics, Video / AR / VR products. They are developing exciting, working, world leading technology technology where their competitors are visibly failing. As a result of this success, they are looking for a number of skilled IC Design Engineers to work on new concepts, technologies and products.

You will be involved in many (or all) aspects of the design process from specification and architecture through RTL design of modules, functional verification, synthesis and timing closure, to silicon validation and production test, with optimisation and enhancement of device level architecture are also being key aspects of these roles.

They have an awful lot of work on, focusing on new AR and VR products which utilise their IP, having achieved significant technology and design wins with industry giants.


As a suitable IC Designer you will already have -


> A proven track record of successful chip development cycles at 40nm and below

> Experience of FPGA prototyping

> Knowledge of PCB development

> RTL design (VHDL or Verilog)

> Experience of 40nm SoC designs



Any of the following experience or knowledge would be particularly useful -



> Network on Chip (NoC)

> System on Chip (SoC) design / integration (40nm & below)

> Low power design / UPF / Multi power domain

> USB / DisplayPort
