Job description

One of the UKs fastest growing HVAC Installations, service and maintenance companies has a job opportunity for a HVAC Mechanical Estimator in Bedfordshire.

The HVAC Mechanical Estimator, Bedfordshire, will be tasked with accurately reading specifications and drawings in order to ascertain the exact requirements of the project including: reviewing design, comparing drawings, specifications and schedules, locating discrepancies and prepare RFI, requesting and coordinating sub-contractor as well as supplier packages, completing drawing take-offs, create and build mechanical estimates including materials and labour, developing, maintaining, refining and standardising the estimating system & tools and liaising with clients, consultants and other personnel to formulate estimates and resolve issues.

The HVAC Mechanical Estimator, Bedfordshire, will have experience with estimating, have experience and knowledge in mechanical services (HVAC), be able to use Excel and the usual Windows-based office systems, have knowledge of the Ensign software would be an advantage, having the ability to undertake CAD drawing tasks would be an advantage.
