Job description

Our client is looking for a generalist HR Advisor to cover for maternity leave for their business. This business is a leading technology manufacturing company. The business has been operating for over 40 years and the ideal HR Advisor will have a generalist experience, including some delivery exposure within training.

To be successful in securing the HR Advisor position you will have exposure of the following:

> Liaising with managers to understand their needs, short-listing of candidates, referencing, offer letters, contracts and on-boarding including inductions
> Assisting throughout the business on ER issues and creating a positive outlook for employees of the business, whilst adhering to company policies and legal procedures
> Supporting managers with disciplinary, grievance, long term sickness and general counselling and performance meetings
> With regards referencing, ensure security checks are complete prior to new employees starting with the business
> Updating all employee records and maintaining their security
> Support line managers, including ensuring that they have a full understanding of company policies
> Manage the programmes regarding internships, work experience and take the lead on graduate recruitment, including the recruitment fairs around the UK

To be considered for short-listing for this position of HR Advisor. The company seek the following experience as a must have:

> CIPD qualified or equivalent (If not qualified, substantial experience within a similar position must be evident)
> Knowledge of the recruitment process from an in house / HR perspective
> Due to the nature of the role, at least 2 years proven experience within a similar position

Advantageous experience:

> Previous exposure of security vetting experience
> Knowledge of ADP Freedom
