A wonderful career opportunity has arisen with a market leader in the field of RF & Microwave solutions for a Head of Sales to take responsibility for strategic decisions over their direct European Sales Team and their regional third party distribution channel partners.

This highly innovative and high growth manufacturer have long led the field in the development of innovative and highly functional RF & Microwave systems reflecting the growing demands for quality and technology. Their successes are testament to their motivated, talented and highly capable teams coupled with a policy of recruiting the best and providing them with a working environment that is stimulating, fun and ever-changing.

As the Head of Sales you will take the lead on growing their primary routes to market are design led sales directly with OEM clients and channel sales via specialist chains and independent traders in high-end RF & microwave components and integrated systems. This new role is to head up an existing team of sales professionals tasked with maximising awareness and sales in the specialist channel. This is a strategically important sales channel for the business and represents a substantive portion of the client's revenue stream.

Reporting into the VP of Sales you will provide the lead in sales ability, market awareness and in the implementation of both the overt and subtle techniques required to motivate the specialist outlet's sales staff.

To be successful in your application for this Head of Sales Position, you should articulate your previous sales management experience and a background in RF & Microwave component sales. You should have an exemplary pedigree in sales of a technology product in the high reliability arena. Your CV will articulate your experience in the Defence, Aerospace and Space markets, as well as evidence of your background in RF and Microwave products.

Qualified to degree level in a technical discipline and ideally with an MBA you will be well versed in modern sales management techniques. You will have experience in specialist channel and have demonstrative success in achievement beyond expectation. You will be a natural and effusive communicator and yet retain the ability to take an analytical view to the sales process, the changing market and the future strategy for the growth of the division.
