An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Quality to join a globally recognised organisation involved within the exciting technology sector of Rugged and Industrial Computers, based at their site in Redditch.
Due to continued growth my client in Redditch are seeking a Head of Quality to oversee and manage teams across three sites and develop a strategic roadmap for the company.
Duties of the Head of Quality job include:
> Manage the introduction of additional quality standards and oversee the successful management and retention of existing business certifications such as ISO14001 and 9001.
> Advise the Leadership team on the direction of audit/compliance and quality standards and alert them to development in legislation and best practice.
> Develop detailed operational business improvement plans, which will ensure effectiveness and value for money in accordance with the company's strategic aims.
> Promote and develop a culture of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality across the division.
Key skills and experience for the Head of Quality job are:
> Masters or bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent degree
> Knowledge of one or more rigorous quality standards such as aerospace or medical would be advantageous.
> Experience within a management position or experience of leading a team
> Experience within a engineering environment
> IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH would be advantageous.
