Hardware Test Development Engineer job - Electronics / PCB's to £ 35K + bonus, fantastic location in the South Oxford area

An experienced Hardware Test Development Engineer is needed to join the friendly R & D and Production Teams of a successful and growing, award winning SME Engineering company who develop intelligent systems for the Transport, Security and Industrial Automation markets. The company are an autonomous part of a £ Billion pound company and are working on intelligent highways, autonomous vehicles and intelligent surveillance projects, amongst others. Really interesting, cutting edge work.

You will be based in a fantastic Farm and stables conversion (open fields, high ceilings, beams, BIG windows and lots of light !) In the heart of rural Oxford. A really beautiful location and you can even take your dog to work !

The position itself is also very interesting, with a lot of opportunity for progression, as you will be supporting both product development, R & D and new product introduction teams, designing test flows, developing and running tests, test jigs and automation equipment, performing environmental, stress and reliability tests for electronic boards and assemblies and electro-mechanical assemblies and systems.

You will then analyse the data that you have created in order to suggest ways to improve test results and efficiency, which will feed straight back into new product development. Your work really will influence next generation products.

Experience you will need for this job -
> Hardware Test Development at board and component level
> Test jig development
> Test flow design and development
> Environmental and stress test

It would also be nice to have experience of:
> Automating tests
> Liaising with subcontract board test companies
> Test Data Analysis
