Do you have the initiative to learn new skills and technology outside of your comfort zone?

This role offers the opportunity to work on full concept design and development as well as learning new skills and subject matter areas.

A growing, heavily funded, start-up company near Oxford are looking for a Graduate Software Engineer - C/C++ to join their small R&D team. They are working on cellular research technology and are in the process of launching a reliable and user-friendly product enabling technological advances into cell biology and facilitating breakthrough discoveries.

This really is full concept development work. You will be working from blank sheet of paper on ideas alongside the Chief Engineer - you will be choosing the tools and the approach!
You will be making parts using 3D technology, sourcing components, building prototypes and then testing the product whilst taking through CE marketing and approvals and finally, training and supporting customers.

Key responsibilities of the Graduate Software Engineer - C/C++ job:
- Microcontroller programming in C / C++
- The creation of Windows applications
- Developing the user interface to ensure it is simplistic and user-friendly

Key skills / experience required for the Graduate Software Engineer job - C/C++:
- Experience of C / C++ programming
- Previous experience of the development of Windows applications

Education experience:
- You will have a 2:1 or above in Computer Science or Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Physics and any other related subjects

They are open to applications from graduate engineers up to senior level providing they are self-motivated and can work in a dynamic environment. The role may involve travel both inside and outside of the UK.
