A world leader in the design and manufacture of electronic systems for the chemical industry is seeking a Global Field Service Operations, Senior Manager,, to join then their Headquarters & Global Technology Centre in Burgess Hill site. The company are a major global leading engineering company who are part of a business worth over £10 billion. They develop complex, high value, high speed machinery which is used in the manufacture of semiconductors.

The Global Field Service Operations, Senior Manager, Burgess Hill, will be responsible for improving customer satisfaction, reducing costs and driving profitability through best in class design, processes, tools and techniques for the global Field and On-site organization. You will be responsible for 13 direct reports and will be responsible for the operations, systems and processes for over 1700 Field Engineers globally located at over 200 sites. This role will include responsibilities for supporting account strategies and growth strategies meeting revenue and profit targets & satisfying the future operating model, reporting, improvement, customer interaction, training and safety for the On-Site teams within the context of Operational Field Service. Other key responsibilities of the incumbent will be to establish a global operating model through best in class design, processes, tools and techniques for the Field and Onsite global operation, enable a differentiated customer experience through a network of highly effective, customer focused field service teams and Implement a structured change management process across the Field and On-site organisation in support of all improvement initiatives.

The Global Field Service Operations, Senior Manager, Burgess Hill will also be responsible for the delivery of all Field and On-site global operational performance targets and improvements

The role will involve extensive travel as there is responsibility for Global Customer base support.

The Global Field Service Operations, Senior Manager, Burgess Hill, will have extensive senior operations management experience, preferably on a global multi site large scale ( > 500 people) showing demonstrable performance improvements and will have experience managing dispersed teams in technical service or equivalent position. You will ideally have knowledge of ISO9000, ISO14000 and EHS management systems and a Bachelors Degree.
