Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer - Oil & Gas based in Dorset working for a global engineering group specialising in extreme environment components and process equipment for the oil & gas, chemical processing and energy markets. You will be involved with working with pressurised process equipment including piping and heat exchangers so you must have experience working in this area.

You will spend around 50% of the time in various on and offshore locations throughout the world.

This Field Service Engineer - Oil & Gas job - Dorset - Responsibilities:

- Providing technical expertise to resolve a variety of customer field issues relative to scheduling, installations and troubleshooting activities
- Ensure the site service is executed in accordance with contractual agreements to assure customer satisfaction through quality and service
- Gather and review customer operational performance data; analyse and produce trends output and technical recommendations.
- Oversee on site contractors and technicians to carry out work in a timely manner.

For the Field Service Engineer - Oil & Gas job - you will require:

- HND/HNC or Degree qualified within an appropriate industry
- Experience of working with heavy duty, pressurised industrial process equipment
- Experience of dealing direct with customers
- Ideally experience of design or working with design teams
- Happy to travel extensively abroad 50% of the time
