Are you looking for a new role as an Estimating Engineer - Manufacturing, working for a global leading engineering business specialising in the aerospace industry?
If so, my client is currently recruiting for an Estimating Engineer- Manufacturing to join their site based in Bromborough, Merseyside.
They are seeking a driven individual to join the existing estimating team engaged in the day to day estimating of current and new contracts. They are also looking for someone who holds good experience working within the Aerospace or within any manufacturing engineering industry. The role will also consist of communication with production and engineering teams to compose accurate costing of projects.
The ideal Estimating Engineer - Manufacturing would need a blend of the following skills and experience:
- Experience working in the Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering industry
- Demonstrated strength in numerical and financial analysis.
- Experience in an estimating / business development discipline.
- High level of commercial acumen, with in depth knowledge of bid compilation, estimating procedures and standard cost modelling.
- You will be responsible for preparing estimates for new business
- Handover successful bid packages to NPI and Engineering explaining bid assumptions and proposed manufacturing strategy.
