They are currently recruiting for an Embedded Software Engineer - RTOS to join their grown R&D team. This opportunity will give you the chance to have a long term & progressive career within a fantastic team, working on a variety of extremely exciting projects & training & development plans.

For the first 12 months this position with be based in Nottinghamshire. The remainder of your duration working for the business you will need to be based from a global R&D center in Cambridgeshire.

The successful Embedded Software Engineer - RTOS will be responsible for development of embedded software and complementary technologies for as well as taking responsibility and ownership of the design, development and maintenance of multiple software components and small projects, including custom applications, from initiation through to integration into a released product.

Key tasks for this Embedded Software Engineer - RTOS job will be:

> Specify, design, develop and test Embedded software for products, User Interfaces and Workflows & also IoT Solutions.
> Research and prototype new technologies and methods to improve customer workflows.
> Linx products include mechanical, electronic, software and ink jet printing components.

The successful applicant for this Embedded Software Engineer - RTOS job will have a combination if the following skills:

> 3 or more year's professional software experience working in a multi-discipline, agile development environment.
> Experience of working as part of a Scrum team.
> Experience developing software for embedded real time systems in C/C++
> Experience developing IoT solutions using AWS technologies
> Experience with UI development
> RTOS experience
> Low level hardware debugging techniques
