My client is a world leader in electric under water robotics and are currently seeking for an Embedded Software Engineer - Linux to join their busy and growing organisation based in Fareham, Hampshire
They are looking for a talented, versatile and motivated Embedded Software Engineer - Linux to work in a busy, stimulating environment over a diverse range of products, new and existing. The ideal candidate must be confident, able to multi-task, a good team player, and a good communicator.
The Embedded Software Engineer - Linux will be involved in the design and implementation of embedded software solutions for underwater robotics applications in line with the company's business needs through innovation, creativity and professionalism.
The ideal candidate for the Embedded Software Engineer - Linux job will have the following experience:
> Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related discipline, or equivalent
> Industry experience development of real-time embedded software in C or C++ in commercial environment
> Experience of RS232, RS485, SPI or I2C device driver development
> Experience of change management systems such as SVN and Git
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within the engineering department at a successful engineering company investing heavily in R&D. My client offer hybrid working but would need to be able to commute to Fareham, Hampshire at least 3 days a week.
