Are you an experienced Project Engineer - Electronics Technician looking to leverage your PCB fault-find, repair and test skills within one of the world's most technically advanced and renowned house hold brand technology companies?

Do you have experience in the development of high volume consumer Electronics products, PCB layout and test rig design (ideally using LabView and PLC programming) ?

If you do and want to work in a complex R & D environment, for a company which which uniquely combines Electronic Engineering and Science and who have big growth plans and exciting new innovations in the pipeline, this is the job for you.

This leading company is recognised as a global leader in the development, design and manufacture of technically leading consumer electronics products. They are seeking a passionate Project Engineer - Electronics to support the electronics development of consumer products. This will include supporting the design of consumer products, from conception to manufacture, the design of product testing systems and the execution of testing and the reporting and presentation of results.

Key Responsibilities for this Job include:

> Supporting the electronics team in the design and development of consumer products from concept to manufacture.
> Carry out hardware / firmware validation and fault-finding.
> Design & development of product test rigs for lab and manufacture testing, including use of LabVIEW and PLC programming
> The use of test equipment including thermocouples, infrared cameras, oscilloscopes, DMM, current probes and power supplies
> Product testing (EMC, safety and compliance)

Key Skills/Requirements for this Project Engineer - Electronics Technician Job include:

> Experience in consumer electronics products
> Experience of hardware / firmware validation
> Experience with PCB rework and prototyping (breadboard)

The Project Engineer - Electronics will join a growing team and be part of the company's continuing success. You will be based at their site in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, which is easily commutable from Ely, St Neots, Cambridge, Huntingdon, Bedford, Luton, Biggleswade, Harpenden, Letchworth Garden City, Welwyn Garden City and Corby.
