Job description
A great opportunity for an Electronics Engineering Manager has arisen with a global technology business in Luton.
They design and manufacture a range of ruggedised Electronic instrumentation products that are safety critical and used in harsh environments and are looking for an Electronics Engineering Manager to lead a small team of around 8 design engineers.
Key responsibilities Electronics Engineering Manager job:
> Technical and performance management of a team of approx. 8 electronic engineers
> Active involvement in the development and sustaining of a wide range of intrinsically safe products
> Refine and define processes and procedures to ensure good quality products meet time and cost objectives
> Participate in the definition of product roadmaps and maintain an awareness of industry trends to make best use of emerging technologies
> Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers and other parts of the organisation
Skills required for the Electronics Engineering Manager job:
> Experience of both analogue and digital electronic development for regulated environments
> Experience of high volume product development
> Proven experience of managing a development team
> Ideally you will have a strong background within instrumentation with good knowledge of sensors and the associated technologies around instrumentation equipment
