Job description

Highly experienced Electronics Design Engineer requirement for a fast-paced and expanding designer/manufacturer of next generation products at their offices in the West Midlands.

You will be responsible for:
- Designing analogue and digital schematics, with involvement in the PCB design.
- Developing test specifications and the supporting documentation
- Supporting prototype manufacture, testing(which includes EMC testing)
- Liaising with different design teams for multidiscipline development.
- Potentially supporting multiple projects at any one time

Key Requirements for the Electronics Design Engineer job based in the West Midlands include:
- Educated to degree-level (those with practical experience may be considered)
- Strong experience of both analogue and digital schematic design
- Experience with Altium is HIGHLY desirable, though not essential
- Proven experience in writing embedded C code from scratch to run on real-time operating system
- Full development life-cycle experience
- Bright, enthusiastic, self-reliant and good at problem solving with minimal backup.
- Experience of working on medical devices is HIGHLY desirable.
