Job description

This Electronics Design Engineer - Digital role is based in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, commutable from Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Middlesex, Surrey etc.

My client offers an extensive range of wireless communications systems and solutions that are used all over the world.

They are always pushing to develop the latest technology and require an Electronics Design Engineer - Digital to join their expanding team.
In this role, you will be designing complex high-speed digital electronics for distributed Antenna systems.

Main responsibilities for the Electronics Design Engineer - Digital role are:
- Design, develop, modify and evaluate digital electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for digital electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
- Propose and develop new products, new technologies, materials and processes to maintain and grow our technology differentiations.
- Providing Electronics Design expertise to the design, development and delivery new products including processes and technologies.
- Undertake the de-bugging and testing of new designs and supporting module and system related test, verification and integration project phases.

Skills and Competencies for the Electronics Design Engineer - Digital role will include:
- Experience designing and developing both Analogue and Digital circuitry.
- Experience within the Analysis of requirements documents and understanding their application to Hardware designs.
- Experience of Hardware, Firmware & Software Integration of Micro Processor based designs onto hardware platforms is essential.
- Experience of de-bugging and testing new designs and supporting module and system related test, verification and integration project phases as required by a development type programme prior to system deliveries.
- Preferable, but not essential: Experience with high speed serial communication protocols and architectures.
