Are you looking for an exciting Electronic Technician opportunity to work at one of the very few centres of excellence Research and Development sites?!

As an electronics Technician - Soldering you will be working for my client who specialise in designing and manufacturing complex electronic products that are used all over the globe. This site is one of their global centres of excellence and, as such, is very well funded and focused on their latest products.

The purpose of an Electronics Technician - Soldering is to support our electronics engineering design team in the creation and testing of the latest products. You must also be able to solder. And have basic knowledge of Ohm's Law

Some of the responsibilities of the Electronic Technician - Soldering will involve:

- Supporting our electronics engineering design team in the creation and testing of their range of electronic products
- Soldering, Assembling, Modifying, testing and fault finding on electrical hardware, calibrating equipment
- Sending data to calibration houses, wiring systems
- Modifying circuits and general lab work
- To maintain the database, raise PO's and manage your own spreadsheets and maintain stock levels within the test lab.

It is essential for the Electronic Technician - Soldering to have:

- Basic knowledge of Ohm's Law
- Must be able to solder
- Modification of PCB's
- Previous experience working as a Technician or as a Test Engineer on prototypes or electronic hardware
- Must be able to read a circuit diagram
- Full UK Driving License

Experience working in an R&D environment would be a bonus.
