Are you a motivated, technically-minded and professional support engineer who is looking for increased responsibility and the challenges of working with state of the art test equipment within this internationally successful company?

This world market leader in high vacuum technology for the semi-conductor industries is currently seeking to recruit an Electronic Equipment Maintenance Engineer to support, repair and improve a diverse range of electronic test equipment.

This organisation can also offer dynamic, challenging and exciting career opportunities and is based in East Sussex but is commutable from Eastbourne, Bexhill, Hastings, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Heathfield, Uckfield, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Brighton, Newhaven and Seaford.

This Electronic Equipment Maintenance Engineer- East Sussex will be responsible for providing technical support for and maintaining a range of state of the art ICT/ATE Test equipment within the factory.

Key responsibilities required for Electronic Equipment Maintenance Engineer job include:


- Technical support of a range of automatic board test systems and specialised “final” test equipment.
- Modification, repair and improvement of specialised computer-controlled test sets and monitoring test-related data in order to predict and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Devising and implementing preventive maintenance schedules for existing test equipment


Key requirements required for Electronic Equipment Maintenance Engineer job include:

- Minimum 2 years experience within a role responsible for maintaining and repairing specialised electronic test equipment.
- Ability to understand, read and work from schematics and system diagrams.
- Strong understanding of electronics.


This is a unique opportunity for Engineers who are looking for career growth and development as this role will evolve to a Test Development Role. This global leading client will be training the chosen Engineer on how to develop test programs and be trained on both Circuit board and higher level assembly test.
