Job description

Are you an experienced Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue/Digital , looking for an opportunity working with lifesaving products? They currently require an Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue/Digital to join their well-established R&D team based in Cambridge.

My client are global leaders in manufacturing within a safety critical industry, who design and manufacture a range of electronic instrumentation products that are used all over the world. They are looking for an Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue/Digital, to ensure their products and services meet the necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. They are looking for someone is thorough and observant with an eye for detail and must fully understand the requirements for the product or service.

The ideal candidate will be flexible enough both to handle design work and to roll their sleeves up and help with practical hands-on engineering

Responsibilities of the Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue/Digital, will include:
- Produce schematic design, circuit layout, prototyping and bench testing.
- Produce engineering reports and operating manuals.
- Contributing to product specifications and equipment design
- Wiring test kits and building prototypes, proof of concept models etc.
- Conducting analyses on faulty products and reporting on findings
- Interpret schematics and datasheets for the wider team.
- Supporting colleagues as required to assist the engineering team in meeting its objectives.

Attributes of the Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue/Digital will include:
- Good knowledge and understanding of electronics
- You will be expected to be computer literate and have knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Experience working in an agile environment would be advantageous
- Capable of working independently when required
- You should be adaptable with have a positive attitude, while being meticulous and detail-orientated
