Job description

The Redline Group are working in conjunction with our client, a world leader in their high technology industry, based in Northamptonshire.

They require a Contract VxWorks Software Engineer - Drivers to join the software development team in developing software and firmware for a variety of electronics products.

Contract VxWorks Software Engineer - Key Tasks:

- Develop firmware, device drivers, Board Support Packages (BSPs) on a VxWorks platform
- Carry out validation and software test tasks
- Produce software to meet industry standards and to client specifications
- Working in an agile environment
- Continuous improvement tasks

Key Requirements- Northamptonshire:

- Strong embedded software experience
- Embedded C
- VxBus
- Linux experience, including drivers
- Highly regulated industry background

** You must be eligible to obtain BPSS clearance**
