Exciting opportunity for a Contract Technology Development Engineer - based in Norfolk, to support our client on an industry-leading project. A global business with various locations across the UK, our client specialises in the development and delivery of highly innovative technical products, including mission-critical electronic components.
This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination, therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.
This excellent opportunity will see you reviewing schematic drawings, working closely with R&D design teams, taking products from prototype, through to manufacture. An in-depth knowledge of material science is key, in order to advise and work on the best material integration.
Key Skills required - Contract Technology Development Engineer - based in Norfolk:
- An excellent knowledge of material science is required for this role, especially within adhesives; an understanding of how materials bond together is essential
- Experience of thick film technology
- Chip attach, bonding, or wire bonding experience
- Experience of working within an NPI environment
- Qualification in Material Science/ Physics/ Chemistry
- Experience within highly regulated industries (Aerospace, Automotive or Defence)
