Job description

The Redline Group have a 6 month contract job opportunity for a Contract Lead Software Engineer - C#/Data to work with our client, an industry leader in scientific instrumentation at their offices in Scotland.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work closely with other members of the Software and Hardware teams to deliver the next generation of products.

Key Responsibilities - Contract Lead Software Engineer - C#/Data:

- Develop use cases and technical requirements specification generation
- Design and implement product features that are fit for production
- Lead design reviews to ensure all requirements are being met
- Perform unit testing and ensure tests are run as part of the continuous integration process

Skills Required:
- C# .NET
- Entity Framework
- Visual Studio
- Concurrent programming
- Ideally experience interfacing with RESTful services
