Do you know what's required to achieve Product Certification? Do you have experience working with Test Houses and Regulatory Bodies?
Redline Group are working with our Surrey-based customer, who have a global reputation for expertise and excellence, in their search for a Contract Hazardous Area Consultant to support in the delivery of a key new product. This is an initial 6-month opportunity working on a part-time basis where your skills and expertise in this area will prove invaluable.
In this role, you will be responsible for the overview of the certification process, ensuring the product that has been developed can be certified, pulling together documentation and liaising with notified bodies. This will involve strong communication skills as well as a deep knowledge of industry standards and processes.
This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.
Key Skills Required - Contract Hazardous Area Consultant, Surrey:
- Experience in IEC 60079-2 Purge and Pressurization standard or IEC 60079-0 hazardous area standard
- Experience in certification for new products - expertise in new product development
- A proven track record of managing a relationship with certified bodies - displaying good communication skills
- Any experience with FM and UL (testing bodies) national electronical code NEC NFPA 70 is desirable but not essential
