Redline have a Fantastic Contract Embedded Software Engineer - Windows opportunity with a leading electronics systems designer, based in Reading.
This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.
Our client is a global business with significant presence at various locations across the UK, specialising in high performance engineering, electronics, software and mechanical technology. Their products are designed, developed and manufactured here in the UK and are sold into a wide range of global markets, including Automotive, Commercial Aerospace, Video, Defence, Off-highway, Industrial, Avionics and Control. As a result of continued growth, new customer projects and significant investment in the UK, they are urgently looking to hire a range of professional Contractors.
As an experienced Software Contractor, you will support the team on an exciting new product development which is taking place as we speak. In its early stages, you will be asked to develop the technology to meet the demands of emerging markets, as well as providing the next generation of support to existing industries.
Key Skills Required: Contract Embedded Software Engineer - Windows, Reading:
- Proven experience in writing device drivers for Windows
- Proven experience with Windows Board Support Packages
- Proven experience with Windows lifecycle testing
