Job description

Computer Vision Research Scientist needed for a market lead specialist in image processing and computational photography based in Cambridge. As this job is based within Cambridge it is within commutable distance from Huntingdon, Peterborough, Bedford, and Essex along with having transport links to and from London.

The company uses patented image fusion algorithms in combination with state of the art machine learning techniques to solve challenging image processing problems, including multi spectral fusion and multi sensor registration among others.

Computer Vision Research Scientist should have good knowledge of computer vision, with specific experience in, image classification techniques (ImageNet), object detection techniques(DarkNet,Yolo, SSD), semantic segmentation techniques (Segnet) and Neural Network Frameworks (Tensorflow, Caffe).

The Computer Vision Research Scientist would be implementing Neural Network inference for customer environment in collaboration with software engineers and to work with the software team to facilitate object aware image processing. Along with this, the successful candidate would have to have strong Python, C/C++ skills with knowledge of Matlab and having the ability to optimise code to obtain maximum performance from the available computer resource.
